CHARNELL47 is the result of a life of artistic development. The grasp of the musical bug was captured at a very early age, and with regular feedings has continued.

5 years old, started making noise with a guitar. 13 years old started rocking with bands. 15 years old started performing live in the local scenes.

Along the way, I've made my own musical world when no one else was avaialble. When I'm not writing for a specific genre, my inspiration goes every which direction and the results are never something I can predict.

I"ll sit down and typically come up with some noise, or riff, or beat; and everything that comes after is strictly reactionary to the original peice. I enjoy free improvisational reactions and allowing the capture of lyrics in one take with no pre-planning.

What I've learned after all these years, is that music is always going to have a place in my life. I may be part of another persons project, or I may be creating a very specific music with my own band. But what I create when I'm left to my own devices with no other influences is what this will be.

Some of the sounds I'll have here, will be from earlier in my musical career; but I plan on continuing to create new as long as I can. Everyonce in a while I may mail out some ideas and have friends contribute and I look forward to get to respond to their ideas.

Anything I release under charnell47 will be sounds I found to appreciate even if not at first. I hope you enjoy this music never originally intended for human consumption.
